Sharukh's Batting
There is a controversy over Pak players not being taken by any IPL teams in the auction. There is one film star & business man & Kolkata Night Riders owner started batting for Pakistani players.
Lets listen his side of the argument. He says, any player can come and play as it is a game. He claims thats what was told in schools and thats what we are teaching our children. Well, completely agreed Mr Sharukh, but not in the current scenario.
There is no trust between India and Pakistan now. No cooperation from Pakistan in stopping Terrorism against India. They are fighting International terrorism with US , but giving a deaf ear against Terrorism in India. There is huge encouragement within Pakistan against India. IPL is series sponsored by Indian business man and earns most of its money from Media, Advertisement and other sponsorships from India. If they decided to boy-cot Pakistani Players, respect their decision.
If I am a business man, I don't want to pay millions of dollars to Pakistani player just because its a game. For me, country comes before the game. That might be the case for many in the IPL Auction. We never know how the funds of the players will be utilized in turn. I completely support the decision in IPL Auction. I feel proud of it.
On the other hand , Shiv Sena should not make it a big issue against Sharukh. We respect freedom of speech in India. If any Pakistani actor speaks in support of India, couple of bombs will blast at his home. So Sharukh enjoy the freedom of speech. Put your business and feelings on top of country's reaction. If you take a poll, at least 75% of the Indians will turn out to be happy with the kind of events happened in IPL auction. Don't worry about country feelings, bother about your business. Go Sharukh Go ...
