I tried the below varieties of culinary art in the recent past. I am not mentioning about the Indian food, which I love to great extent, other than that I tried below International  food tastes of course all of that I tried are veggies. Here is the order in which I prefer and few words about that country. Ethiopian : It is the only country in Africa which has alphabets. Its one of two countries in Africa, which is independent since long time. Earliest trace of human race is found here in the world. Injira is similar to Indian Dosa and it is Fantastic. I would love to eat this food again. Mexican: I liked Chipotle. Veggie rice bowl, taco, burrito are good. I can eat veggie rice bowl without getting bored. Italian: It doesn't need much introduction. I like Pasta,  Lasagna. Pasta prepared with  marinara sauce is my favorite in Italian dish. I like the American food chains like Pizza hut, Burger king, Sub way etc.,  Pakistani : I like the Bhaigan Bharta to a great e

I watched Shashi Tharoor speech on India as a Soft Power, I liked it and here are some things which caught my attention. Elephent (India) and Tiger(China) are becoming next world power. We have worlds 4th largest Army. We will overtake china by 2034 in Population, becoming worlds number 1 in population. We have 5th largest economy in the world. We are growing constantly at 6.7%, when worlds largest economies are shrinking. Somehow this is not adding up to the soft power. Hollywood, Pepsi, Coke, McDonald's helped America become a soft power. They have done more than American Govt in making US soft power. Countries are judged on the popularity, communication, information, branding as soft power. We are larger than US in terms of Telecommunications. Once in India there was 8 years long wait time to get telephone connection. Now we are selling 15 million cell phones a year. I don't have any articles in the recent past. Well actually I am little busy in petty things like cooking and eating :-) Lets see what stuck my mind today. Its about separate state agitation in Southern part of India. Some people want separate state Telangana from  Andhra Pradesh --> India --> Asia, that is the farthest I can identify it globally. Some how I strongly believe the recent political turmoil in Andhra has to do with EX CM. Once the strong CM (he was good or bad) passed away, things are getting destabilized in Andhra. I don't want to be controversial, but I have right to express my opinion. I am reading many stories on objections from a community about singing VANDE MATARAM, National Song of India. (Not national anthem) I found some interesting things on it and I want to share it with my readers. One communal organization in India has declared ban against singing Vande Mataram, due to the song giving a notion of worshiping Mother India, which is unislamic. The song was written in 1876 and first it was sung on political meeting in 1896. The first two stanzas describe greatness of the country and later it will start comparing mother India to "Durg Matha". Please remember we are singing only first two stanzas. I attended art of living session today, much awaited session on Breathing Exercise, Pranayam and Meditation. Thanks to Kapil for introducing me to some meditation techniques. For those who don't know, Art of Living was found by Sri Sri Ravishankar in 1981. It is serving in more than 150 countries. He developed Sudharshan Kriya, its a form of meditation. We Breath in immediately after birth and breath out at death. That is the importance of the breath. So in short breath is life. Emotions have close relation with breathing. This fellow drawn nude images of Hindu Deities Lakshmi, Parvathi, Sarswathi, Ganesh, Seetha and Hanuman etc., Isn't it a big list ? In fact he painted his mother and daughter with full clothes and Bharat Mata again nude. Well, the self supporting statement he gave for this is, Nudity represents Purity. I just started reading another book "Self Matters" By Phillip McGraw. So far interesting, while reading few books we feel the book is about us, this is one of such books. I Just finished one more book, "Winning" written by Jack Welch. "Change is calling where are you", this is the quote of the time for me. After spending one and half year in Chicago (Central America) and closely one and half year in Hartford (East Coast), now its time to visit Phoenix (West Coast). So the change is asking me to go to west coast of America from first week of Nov. Actually i completed visiting almost all the places in East and Central part of America. Since my child hood I was trying to practice only one quality - 'Stita Prajna'. Ofcourse I am not able to conquer yet. I am sure I can do that, before dusk of my life. My mom told me If you can be 'Stita Prajna' you achieve everything in life. I never understood this though. I just completed reading a wonderful book called 'Our Iceberg is Melting', Its really good book about 'change' written by John Kotter. After Kenneth Blanchard, this guy might be worth follwing. US Citizens must be familiar with Jury Duty. Its a new term for rest of us. This is creative idea. Citizens will be part of Law. How far its really required , still arguable. All US citizens must be part of Jury Duty. They will be attending in court for expressing their views on the case assigned to their group. A group of people will be selected as Jury group. They will be expressing their view on the case. If a citizen gets summon from court to attend the Jury and he skips without informing or invalid reason, he will be punished up to 5 days in jail or 1500 Cash.
