Less number of promotions or No promotions ( TCS , Wipro etc.,) 5. Strict policy in Travel approval ( BP is the example) 6. Sabbatical leave offers by employers to employees ( Infosys & Satyam ) 7. Extension of Christmas & New year holidays. Forced leaves !!! (SAP, BT ) 8. Variable pay portion become volatile. (All most all IT companies) 9. I have seen this statement on many companies web site, "equal opportunity employer".....Well it is written , but is it in action? In any organization, whether Private or Government finding the right fit job for their employees abilities is a big challenge. All the organizations which are in success line, will have one thing in common, right person at the right place at the right time. With the reservation system in India, you can never expect Government to find right talented people for the challenging role. US is major among them. Recent Durbin-Grassley bill gives protection to US workers from H1 Migrant workers.
