Last blog of the Year 2010

Hope everybody is doing well with their deeds. I guess this would be my last blog of the year. I don't want to write about what I gained or what I lost in 2010. I don't either want to talk about 2011. But I can tell you I am short of my goals. Take a break, chill out, life is long. OK, thank you all for reading through my blogs. I will try to spend more time at blogging next year. Next year I will have some surprise (its all about blogging) for my readers. I am working on it, but no results yet. Lets hope things workout my way and I will continue enjoying blogging. Happy New Year 2011 to my lovely readers !!!

NOT For SALE

Somethings are not for sale. Believe me, thats true. Groupon said NO to Google $6 Billion deal. Yahoo said NO to Microsoft double the current value of Yahoo offer. So my friend what I want to say is, somethings are not for sale. You can not turn down the aspirations of people. Just you have the power doesn't mean, I have to obey - Famous quote, doesn't remember the author. If you are working for your aspirations and passion, you will be satisfied even if you are a failure. There is a dialog in a Hindi Movie - 3 Idiots. Madhavan (actor)  tells his father. If you want me to become Engineer I might become 3rd grade Engineer. If you let me do Photography which I am interested, I will be at least 2nd grade photographer with satisfaction. Most of the startups I read about they have a sale figure in mind. They start with selling price as destination. Some they tend to become the companies people respect for ever. It all depends on people around you...

Are you Social Expert ?

Two things that are going to be there in 2011 are Cloud and Social Network. Any blog I write on these two things I fully enjoy. Having social presence is important these days as more business offers and identifications are happening basing on social network potential you have. Palm hotel in Lasvegas takes into count your KLOUT score to provide you extra facilities so that you can influence others in your network to go to this hotel. Recently McDonald's offered discount for all Four Square users checking into McDonald's. I can see the trend growing. Next year we are going to see some more innovative things basing on Location based services and Social Networks. I was reading through some factoids on what makes you social expert. There are some parameters for this. 1. Your Google presence. Search on your name like "Surya Prakash Jayanti". 2. Your Twitter Followers. 90% of your followers are authentic. Remaining 10% will be spam. 2000 followers will qualify you for e...

Stay Hungry & Stay Foolish

"Stay Hungry and Stay Foolish", told by Steve Jobs in a graduation ceremony. Indians and Chinese have the edge over the world because they are not just another fat ass in the world. Excuse my language. They can work their way off. This was the edge for India. Now its loosing its edge slowly. The new generations aren't hard working any more. Now a days generations have enough deviations so that they can not concentrate on success. It was not the case earlier. They can work for hours together for their success. Now they are lazy, they don't want to do the hard work. They are talking about something called life, which equates to less money and more life. On the other hand Chinese generations still fall under the category of stay hungry and work your way off. In the field of Software they have their Average work hours some where between 12-15. In India it is somewhere between 9-10. More and more companies are moving to China as the language barrier is getting closed. ...
