The White Tiger

--The creature that gets born only once in every generation. The white tiger--

By this time you might be familiar with this name "The White Tiger" written by "Aravind Adiga" and won Booker prize for this year.

I really want to know how a booker prize book looks like. I read through this book with great excitement. 276 pages completed in 2 nights.

I requested a hold on this book in Russel Library, Connecticut. I was desperately waiting for this book to come into my hands. I was reading through this book with loads of enthusiasm and it was cut down by the end of the book.

I really dont know the criteria for Booker prize. If you understand let me know....here is the site

This book narrates how a son of rickshaw puller become entrepenuer in Bangalore (by slittting the throat of his owner).

Thumbs up:
some of the quotes in the book are revolutionary.
Only three nations in the world never allowed foreigners to rule them its land for long time are China, Abyssinia, Afghanistan (US broke its record recently though....)
Only there are two castes, Big bellies and small bellies. Two destinations eat or get eaten.

Entrepenuer is like sponge, he will absorb and grow.

you were looking for keys for years, but the door is open.

First gearers are "go getters" but they cant stay long on top.

Best of all "Break the rooster coop", try to break the chain in which your life is going....

Thumbs Down:

Circastic about India, looks like a person supporting poore class with extremism.

last 100 pages were not able to carry the enthusiasm.

One thing I admire about this writer is he got amazing acquintaince with the life of poor in India.

His writing shows the maturity he had, its stunning at his age !!!!

Whatever may be the case, Kudos to Aravind Adiga for raising Indian flag high !!!!!
