Gandhi's Irony

The following statement inspired me to write this article.

"Beer Baron picks up Gandhi’s Glasses".

This article is about Vijay Mallya purchasing Gandhi Glasses in Auction. There is nothing wrong in what he does, i appreciate his responsibility. In fact i am fan of "King Fisher" Calendar:-)
He is example of the statement "Live life King Size".

But I pity Irony of Gandhi, his Glasses landed up in Beer Glasses. He strongly supported ban on Liquor. And today the Liquor Barron came to his rescue. Not only this, Vijay Mallya acquired sword of Tippu Sultan. Interestingly he also imposed ban on liquor in his kingdom. Is it coincidence ? Destiny ? Irony ? Or something else?

Whatever it may be, hats off to you Vijay Mallya. I am sorry Mr. Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi.

Highest number of Indians in US are Gujarati's, unfortunately no one came to rescue. Because they are busy with their Subway and Hotel businesses in US. More interestingly one of the worlds top billionaire and another Modh Banya from your place Mr. Mukesh Ambani is busy in spending money on his 24 floors building. He can't spend money on this kind of stuff.

Don't even think about Tata's, Birla's, Mittal's or the people using your surname Rahul & Priyanka.

Another actor in India who got major hit with Gandhi Giri is busy with elections and worried with his AK 47 case. So he can only act in movies not for your views.

Mr. Gandhi you should be happy because you are home after so many years. You are not alone you are safe in liquor barrel (which you hate to your core) and we have Tippu Sultan's Knife for your company (leave your Ahimsa aside). The money earned from beer came for your rescue.

India is busy with elections, so they cant spend much time or money on you. Hope you understand. I know you will understand. Because you are Mahatma !!!!!

Hi Prakash, its a nice one...but just as every coin has two sides, wht i think is that, winning that auction does no good to the poor people in INDIA. Neither Gandhi's Glasses nor his footwear fulfill the hunger of poor people. But people may think that the things put for auction r our Indian Heritage and stuff, but is this serving any purpose other than that?? So,according to me, it doesnt make any difference whether the things put up for auction are in India or somewhere else. Infact, 90%(atleast) of them dont know that Gandhi's belongings are not here in India, and wht change has it brought to us after winning that auction,NOTHING ;)...and it is clear that Indian Govt won the auction in the name of Vijay Mallya... Connecting mallya's beer with gandhi's glasses is gud and also guarded by Tipu Sultan's sword.... :)
